ExperimentaDesign has unveiled the programme for the 2009 edition of the design Biennale in Lisbon marking the commencement of the September design calendar in Europe.

The Biennale celebrates its 10th Anniversary from 9 September to 8 November (Opening week: 9 – 13 Sep) with an impressive programme of exhibitions, open talks, conferences and specially commissioned projects taking place at landmark and privileged locations across Lisbon.

EXD’09 Lisboa proposes the theme “It’s about time” – an in-depth exploration of time as a resource and a challenge in design and production. Curators, practitioners, authors and thought leaders from a diverse creative spectrum will engage audiences in the shifting notions of time and urgency.
